The Gospel Trumpet Sound is described as a cross between Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass and Phil Driscoll, with some Statler Brothers harmonies thrown in. On this CD you will hear many Old Hymns set to modern, toe-tapping Nashville-style country beats.

The Old Rugged Cross (selection #6) features a recitation honoring my parents, John Brown and Ellen Brown Gray (mom remarried after daddy's death in 1968). They always made the effort to take us kids to Church.
